I bought this cool gadget today & I started to use it right away ! jogging, while I m keeping eyes on the road, this product tells you how many steps you have taken, how far you have walked or jogged, and how much calories you have burnt, it also a real time clock, count up timer ,alarm & it is talking !

I jogged 2 kM , I burnt 200kcal, 980 steps.

It is definately a valuable asset for joggers ! oh boy I sound like a product promoter now :-)
update : 2.6KM, burnt 260kcal, 1400 steps ( 14th Sept ) *

Sunday Temptation

Sunday, stayed at home whole day, after my jogging session ended early in the morning, I went to market & bought Chinese style BBQ pork ! I know I know I shouldn’t have, but can’t help it, when I saw it I can’t control but go ahead & buy some.

Well, I controlled quantity that I ate , I took a 3 hours nap ends up skipping the lunch, so I took early dinner later on. My weight goes up half pound, I just knew it will happen due to my dinner with friends yesterday night.

34th Birthday 

Today is my birthday ( 9th Sept ), I received a lovely cheese birthday cake from my friends, I had 1 slice of them, tonight my friends will bring me for a dinner, Yes, I will still watch my diet, well if I took a lot food tonight, then the next day will definately be my fasting day. Oh by the way, I lost another 1 pound. (*v*)

 

Diet Tips ~ Cucumber

My diet status ~ still carry on strictly without fail 3 times a week jogging, watched out food intake, I lost 1 pound lately :-)
A diet tip to share, I eat raw cucumber to replace a meal.

As you see from the picture, it is quite big size for Asian cucumber, occasionally, I will eat raw cucumber with a little of tomato sauce, for breakfast, lunch or even dinner, it fills up my stomach so I wont feel hungry, & the best part is, cucumbers are high in calcium, fat free & very low content of Carbohyrate & calories. Its ideal for weight control.

This morning I ate cucumber & a glass of low fat milk :-)
p/s : when I put cucumber into my mouth, something pops up in my mind , hehe :-)

Jogging Day

Breakfast :- I ate 2 plain high fiber bread with 2 glass of milk.

Lunch      :- I ate 2 apples ( again ), later, I had 1 slice of ham & cheese sandwitch, I know I shouldn’t take cheese cause very fattening, but no choice, my friend made it for me & I was forced to eat it  ( hehe).

Dinner :- I ate some rice, roasted pork, vege & fish. ( small portion only) oh I love the pork :-)
Today, my 3rd jog of this week, i ran very fast today, till i felt my head was poundy, so i stop for a while, walking, then jog again. Maybe I should be extra alert cause i had hypertension originally.

Weight watch :- My weight maintained, same reading for few days, gush I need to control more on my food intake.

 

Breakfast on Malaysian National Day

Soto

Today is Malaysian National Day, I woke up early this morning preparing my own breakfast as well as for my family. I cook a traditional Malay food called ‘Soto’, John, u should know it right ? as you can see from the pix i posted, compressed rice cube with chicken based soup, No meat added (anti-fat). a bowl of it will cover my breakfast n lunch already. I have to go for soup instead of frying foods, it should able to help for any weight increase, i guess :-) 

A strength to carry on

A colleague of mine from another branch came by, he said ” oh Vincent, what happen to you, u look thin nowadays ! “. My god, I m so happy, thats really boost me up, even I m not reaching my target yet, but it gave me the strength to carry on my diet, some courage really necessary to achieve our goal. :-)

Diet Plan

I started my diet since March 2006, as at today 28th Aug 2006, I lost 22 pounds.

I watched my food intake, sometimes, I skip dinner, I do exercise 3 times a week, half an hour each time. ( jogging ),& I  sweat like a pig (*g*)

My goal is to get another 20 pounds reduced.
